Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MyKitchen, an iPhone application published by Boothe Collective LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Account

MyKitchen works fully without creating an account. You may optionally add a phone-number-verified account to enable the server backup feature and free weekly AI recipe imports. If you do, you are responsible for keeping access to that phone number; if you lose access to it, you may lose the ability to restore your backup. Don't share your account, and don't sign up using a phone number that isn't yours.

Subscriptions (MyKitchen Pro)

Full access to MyKitchen's AI features comes with the optional MyKitchen Pro auto-renewing subscription, purchased through your Apple account:

The prices above are in US dollars. Prices and available plans can vary by country or region. The App Store shows your current price, in your local currency, before you confirm a purchase, and that is the price you're charged. If you subscribed before September 25, 2026, you keep your original price for as long as your subscription stays active.

Each plan unlocks the same Pro features for its full period: AI recipe import from links and photos, AI recipe generation and editing, AI pantry scanning, cooking Q&A, nutrition estimates and coaching, and allergen assistance. AI usage is subject to generous daily and monthly fair-use limits. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC, and the monthly limit at the start of each calendar month (UTC).

Without Pro, a free account signed in with a verified phone number can use AI for a limited number of recipe imports each week (currently 5), from links, pasted text, or photos. The allowance resets every Monday at midnight UTC. Importing from a recipe website that publishes standard recipe data doesn't use AI and doesn't count toward the allowance.

Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, after any free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions, or from the Manage Subscription button in the app. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Everything in MyKitchen other than AI features is free.

SMS messaging

By providing your phone number and tapping "Send Code" in the app, you consent to receive one-time SMS verification codes from MyKitchen. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You may opt out by replying STOP to any message from us. We do not send marketing texts. Full SMS handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use MyKitchen to do anything illegal, abusive, or harmful. Don't try to break into other users' accounts, scrape our service, or reverse-engineer the app for purposes other than personal experimentation. Don't upload content that infringes someone else's rights.

Community feed (Discovery)

Discovery lets you publish recipes to a public feed that other MyKitchen users can browse. By publishing, you confirm you have the right to share the recipe's text and photo, and you grant other users permission to download and use it in their own kitchens.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable, offensive, or infringing content may not be published. Every published recipe carries a Report action and a Block Publisher action inside the app; reported content is hidden from the reporter immediately, reports are reviewed, and violating content is removed within 24 hours. Users who publish violating content lose access to publishing, and we may remove any published content at our discretion.

Copyright complaints (takedown)

If you believe content published in Discovery infringes your copyright, email support@my-kitchen.app with a link or description of the content, an identification of your work, and your contact information. We review takedown requests promptly and remove infringing content. Repeat infringers lose publishing access.

Your content

The recipes, lists, and notes you create in MyKitchen belong to you. We don't claim any ownership of your content. Your kitchen data syncs via your private iCloud account between your devices and the people you've shared with. Some features send content to our servers, and only when you use them: AI features send what you submit through our server to our AI provider for processing, the optional phone-verified backup uploads a copy of your kitchen data so you can restore it, and Discovery uploads the recipes you choose to publish to the public feed. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

We work to keep MyKitchen running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app and its services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Boothe Collective LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using MyKitchen at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that abuse the service (for example, fraudulent SMS requests). If you'd like your account record permanently deleted, see the deletion instructions in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you inside the app the next time you sign in. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Boothe Collective LLC is registered. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
